Timo Lassy & Teppo Mäkynen celebrate their new live record release by performing today in a streaming concert at Koko Jazz Club. The album, recorded live at We Jazz Festival, Porvoo Jazz Festival and G Livelab Helsinki, is available today on CD and digitally, with double vinyl to be released at the end of March.
Tenor saxophonist Timo Lassy and drummer-producer Teppo Mäkynen's long-awaited double album Live Recordings 2019-2020 will be released today on CD and digitally. A version with two vinyls will be released on March 26th. The songs, recorded live in 2019 and 2020, showcase the unique interplay dynamics of long-time collaborators and the ability to instantly create memorable, extensive soundscapes. The multi-tone release was premiered by Soundi, and the story includes a commentary track by Lassy and Mäkynen. The fresh release will be celebrated today 19.2. From the entire Jazz Club live in the form of a live stream.
