Ateneum-klubi X We Jazz features three artists from the We Jazz record label: OK:KO, Timo Lassy & Teppo Mäkynen and Alder Ego are seen on the stage at the Ateneum Bistro. The concerts will be recorded and released later on an album.
Know as the pioneer of Finnish jazz, We Jazz co-produces three club nights with the Ateneum Art Museum. Ateneum-klubi X We Jazz presents three current jazz acts from the label’s roster of published artists. The intimate gigs heard at the Ateneum Bistro will be recorded for later release of a live album.
The series of club nights starts on 20 March with OK:KO, which releases their new album in February. Two other acts are Timo Lassy & Teppo Mäkynen on 17 April and Alder Ego on 15 May. Tickets are available from the Ateneum online shop and the ticket includes admission to the exhibitions. Tickets can also be bought at the door before the show, subject to availability. When you arrive at the Ateneum, show your ticket at the ticket office or the museum shop, and you will receive a free pass to the exhibitions. Your free pass will be valid until the end of 2019.
