The tenth We Jazz festival will spread around Helsinki from November 26 to December 3. The first performer announcements are the Norwegian Gard Nilssen's Supersonic Orchestra and Teppo Mäkynen's Stance Brothers, who are returning to the stage after a break of more than ten years. Festival season tickets and Korjaamo's December 2 advance tickets are now on sale at Tiketti.

The first performer announcements of the 2023 We Jazz festival, a highlight of the Helsinki music year, are the Stance Brothers and Gard Nilssen's Supersonic Orchestra, who will both perform at Korjaamo on Saturday 2 December.

Teppo Mäkynen's beloved alias Stance Brothers makes a long-awaited return to the stage with a renewed line-up. During the festival, We Jazz will release the ensemble's new full-length album since the 2007 debut Kind Soul.

Norwegian drummer Gard Nilssen's Supersonic Orchestra is a group of almost twenty members, which includes a number of star names of Nordic jazz, for example Petter Eldh, Mette Rasmussen, Ingebrigt Håker-Flaten, Goran Kajfes and Signe Emmeluth. Korjaamo's evening will also include numerous "spin off performances" from the band's musicians.
