Flame Jazz will continue online concerts during the spring on the Keikalla.fi platform. Today on Friday, Panu Savolainsen Soiva Trio, which celebrates the release of their album, will take the stage and pamper the listeners with the band's acoustically fresh sound. The concert will be streamed live from Turku Bar Ö and will be available for viewing for seven days.
Panu Savolaisen Soiva Trio forms a unique sounding combination of Panu Savolainen's vibraphone, Harri Kuusijärvi's accordion and Eero Seppä's double bass. Savolainen's compositions, which revere the beauty of simplicity, leave room for both colorful interpretation and improvisation by masterful musicians. This journey, strongly influenced by folk music, takes the listener from one mood to another, from sincere sensitivity to jazz-like play.
The band's new album Soiva was released in February, and the trio recorded the songs at the Villa Vikan artist villa in Raseborg in the middle of the corona spring of 2020.
The concert will be streamed live from Turku Bar Ö on Keikalla.fi, and the recording of the event can be viewed for 7 days. Due to the restrictions in place in Turku until April 26, the concert will not admit any live audience.
