This summer, Vapaat äänet organizes the Finnish debuts of two interesting trios: Innanen - Pasborg - Piromalli (Finland, Denmark, France) and Karja - Renard - Wandinger (Estonia, France, Germany) will both tour at the end of July. The agency also organizes pianist Andy Emler's concert series at the end of August.
Innanen - Pasborg - Piromalli tour Finland
The trio founded in 2019 by saxophonist Mikko Innanen, French organist Cédric Piromalli and Danish drummer Stefan Pasborg will be heard in Finland for the first time this summer. The trio's five-concert tour starts on July 25 from Savonlinna and ends on July 30 at Raahe Jazz on the Beach. The band will perform in Mänttä on July 27, Fiskars on July 28 and in Helsinki on July 28.

Karja - Renard - Wandinger trio in Helsinki and Raahe in July
Estonian pianist Kirke Karja's acclaimed trio with French bassist Etienne Renard and German drummer Ludwig Wandinger will perform in Helsinki at Hakasalmi Huvila on July 25 and will be in artist residency at Raahe Jazz on the Beach from July 27–29. The trio will also perform in Tallinn on July 23–24.

Andy Emler "My Own Ravel" visits Finland
French composer-pianist Andy Emler will perform in Finland at the end of August and continue his fascinating dialogue with the music of Maurice Ravel. He will give a concert in Turku on August 26, in Helsinki on August 29, and in Joensuu on August 30 and in Savonlinna on August 31. The concert organized by Helsinki Jazz in Hakasalmi's villa will also feature bassist Eero Tikkanen as a soloist and in a duo with Emler.
