UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra plays the rarely heard jazz arrangement of Tchaikovsky's beloved Christmas classic The Nutcracker. Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn wrote and recorded their original version of the work in 1960 and it is now heard as a fresh interpretation by UMO Helsinki. The concert was recorded in December 2020 and is conducted by the orchestra’s chief conductor Ed Partyka.
