Lenny Pickett joined Jimmy Fallon on the long-running show to talk about “The Prescription”.

UMO and Tower of Power saxophonist Lenny Pickett’s collaborative album The Prescription was on a global spotlight two days ago on The Tonight Show, as the star soloist himself joined the host Jimmy Fallon to share his thoughts about the album. This was the very first time for a recording by a Finnish group to feature on the legendary talk show. Pickett also performed live with the house band The Roots, playing, among others, the title song of the album.

NBC’s Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon is the most popular talk show of the United States. Jimmy Fallon has hosted the show since early this year, stepping into the boots of such precursors as Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno. One of the longest-running entertainment programmes of the world, the first episode of The Tonight Show was aired already six decades ago. Today, more than 4 million people watch the show regularly.
