With the Archipelago Sea Jazz concept, Turku has received a newcomer to the summer festival calendar. Turku Sea Jazz, held for the second time in 2022, will serve delicacies to all the senses at Forum Marinum on the last weekend of July. In addition to top jazz, high-quality food and drink will come to the fore when the cooperation with Turku Food & Wine Festival begins.
The second-ever Turku Sea Jazz will be held on July 29-30, 2022 in front of Forum Marinum on the banks of the Aura River. The summer will bring a new and interesting cooperation between the jazz festival, the maritime center and the restaurant operators in Turku.
For Turku Food & Wine Fest Oy, which runs the Terrace of Kirkkopuisto, the cooperation means a return to Forum Marinum. With the partnership, the popular food event will be upgraded as part of a quality music festival. A set of wine bars, a small brewery and a few top restaurants will be brought to the festival area. The unique setting, high-quality services and interesting content make Forum Marinum a real living room for sea-lovers, where the minds of jazz lovers can now also rest.
The renowned jazz city of Turku offers quality music all year round, and the new Turku Sea Jazz satisfies the thirst for jazz during the summer. Turku Sea Jazz is one of the four festivals in the Archipelago Sea Jazz series, which also includes Baltic Jazz, Korpo Sea Jazz and the new Åland Sea Jazz. Early bird ticket sales for all festivals in the series will start during February, and at the same time the first performers of Turku Sea Jazz will be announced.
