Power duo Timo Lassy & Teppo Mäkynen will present their new live album in a concert recording from the Espoo Cultural Center. After the cancellation of the Sello Hall's February concert, the concert recording can be seen in the digital city of culture Urban Espoo from March 8 15:00 to March 23, 2021 at urbanespoo.fi/lava.
Saxophonist Timo Lassy and drummer Teppo Mäkynen released a new full-length live album in February through We Jazz Records. The visionary duo’s show of strength is a sequel to the duo’s debut album, which received an ecstatic reception both here and elsewhere. The studio album was chosen e.g. Jazz Album of the Year on the list at the prestigious Worldwide Awards Gala by British DJ Gilles Peterson.
Timo Lassy's and Teppo Mäkynen's concert recording will premiere at Urban Espoo on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 15:00 (available until March 22, 2021) at: https://www.urbanespoo.fi/lava. The concert was recorded without an audience and is free of charge.
