The popular HERD club series takes an indefinite Xmas break after the last concerts on Dec 12 - 14.
House band HERD explores folk music with their last guest, pianist and composer TImo Alakotila. The repertoire of the night consists of Alakotila's melodic compositions, which are influenced by Finnish folklore and Argentinian tango, among other sources of inspiration. Get yourself ready for a beautiful and wistful musical encounter!
HERD club series goes on hiatus after these last nights, but in spring of 2014 vibraphonist Panu Savolainen gets his own club at Lavaklubi in Helsinki National Theatre. More information will follow.
