Kansi Auki Piano Jazz Festival hosts international jazz music in intimate surroundings.
Kansi Auki Piano Jazz Festival is Iiro Rantala's output to culture import and increasing the number of live jazz events in Finland. The artists are internationally acclaimed, but not yet have had their tours reaching out to the Finnish soil. A small event, cozy concert hall and intensive connection to the audience offer the artists a chance to take a deep breath of rest by their own music, and feel it find its way to every heart.
The third Kansi Auki ("Lid Open") festival features pianism from Sweden, the United States and Italy, alongside the top Finnish musicians, naturally. The last concert on Sunday is especially for children. ALl the concerts take place in Music Theatre Kapsäkki and its Allotria Club.
