The Lappeenranta Jazz club, which closed down last year (2025), has now been succeeded by a new LPR JAZZ for the fall and spring seasons 2026-2027, founded and produced by the pianist-composer Aurora Hentunen. The club's concerts are located at Café Satamatie 6 in Linnoitus, Lappeenranta.

The fall season's program consists of both traditional jazz music and the fresh Finnish jazz artists.

The club's first performance in September is by Tuomo Uusitalo Trio. Pori Jazz 2023 Artist of the Year, Tuomo Uusitalo is an awarded jazz pianist who has been active in New York since 2012.

In October, award-winning saxophonist Heli Hartikainen will perform material from their new album Interbody (2026) with live electronics.

In November, the band Anno 22 from Jyväskylä will play compositions from their soon-to-be-released debut album.

The fall season culminates with a performance by trumpet player Mikko Pettinen's band Why Not.
