In the first week of March, top tier jazz will play online for five festival days! The hottest bands in Finnish jazz from Iiro Rantala Flock to the Kaisa Mäensivu Trio perform on the Keikalla.fi service. During the festival week, the audience will also hear free concerts on Facebook Live and interesting discussion programs.
Finland's second oldest jazz festival shines as a bright spot of spring and winter again in March! The atmospheric event has been organized since 1969, and this year the Turku Jazz Festival will be transformed into an online festival. The five-day event kicks off with a solo concert by Turku Jazz Artist of the Year, pianist Henri Mäntylä on Facebook Live on Wednesday, March 3rd. The concert will hear the artist's latest news from Mäntylä and at the same time introduce the audience to the streaming stage of the upcoming festival week.
Artist interviews are also heard every night, and the audience can participate via chat with comments, praise and questions.
