Korpo Sea Jazz is the second festival in the Archipelago Sea Jazz festival series!
Korpo Sea Jazz offers diving into the deep waves of jazz and a versatile immersion in the art of music from 20 to 22 July. The sometimes experimental festival offers Finnish quality jazz on four different islands. In addition to Korppoo, concert venues include Nauvo, Houtskär and Aspö.
This year's artistic director is jazz singer-composer Nina Mya, whose repertoire ranges from modern Nordic jazz to rhythmic soul. Mya also performs at the festival herself. The top names of Finnish jazz, such as Varre Vartiainen, Joonatan Rautio and Jussi Fredriksson, can be seen in the finest concert venues.
Korpo Sea Jazz has been organized since 1989. In this festival, the sea and nature are close and the unique island atmosphere invites you to enjoy contemporary music.
Tickets are sold in advance by Tiketti. When purchasing a ticket at Tiketti, it is possible to support the John Nurminen Foundation's Baltic Sea work. Tickets are also sold on the spot, if the concerts are not sold out in advance.
