The 20-year-anniversary edition of Jazz-Espa concert series opens on Sunday, July 28, with a day-long, free, open air Suvilahti Jazz festival on Merikerho restaurant ship on the urban beach promenade of Sörnäinen.
The sunny Merikerho terrace stage features three international jazz & crossover acts and buoyant DJs in the afternoon, and as the night draws in, the downstairs club heats up with two more live sets and a club-DJ.
The opening party is free of charge and both decks are wheelchair accessible. Children are welcome to the terrace concerts with a guardian, while the late night under-the-deck club concerts admit only those of age.
