Simply Red will perform at Pori Jazz on Saturday, July 16th. Other additions to the festival program include the likes of Charles Lloyd feat. Bill Frisell, Thundercat and Finnish special ensemble Maustetytöt X Agents.
Pori Jazz main concerts will be held next summer between July 14th and 16th. Several new acts have been added to the festival program including jazz stars Charles Lloyd feat. Bill Frisell, Joe Lovano & Dave Douglas Quintet, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Sons of Kemet and Kenny Garrett with his band. Different styles of rhythm music are represented by the likes of American stars Thundercat and Cory Wong as well as the French group L’Impératrice.
Finnish artists are also prominently featured with new additions Maustetytöt X Agents, Tuomo and Linda Fredriksson Juniper.
The 55th Pori Jazz will be held between July 8th and 16th. Previously announced artists include John Legend (July 14th), Lewis Capaldi and Emeli Sandé (July 15th) and Hector Reimagined (July 16th). Several more acts will be announced during winter and spring.
