SavoyJAZZFest is organized for the first time between 8 and 10 of March.
The event starts on Friday with UMO Jazz Orchestra performing Jussi Lampela’s Jazz Noir with soloists Jukka Perko and Jukka Eskola. The evening ends with legendary drummer Billy Cobham and his Crosswind’s Project.
The headliner of Saturday is American jazz vocalists Jazzmeia Horn, who visits Finland for the first time. The second act of the night is Teppo Mäkynen’s 3TM trio with 3D visuals.
The three-day festival ends on Sunday with Swedish Bo Sundström with his ensemble.
After every Savoy JAZZFest day the evening continues with intimate after party club, held at the Hotel Haven’s Bar Haven. The club nights feature artists such as Teemu Viinikainen and Antti Lötjönen, Severi Pyysalo and Kaisa Mäensivu and Jukka Eskola Soul Trio.
