Puistoblues is renewing itself this summer. The festival is expanding its lineup by featuring emerging Finnish blues artists in the main concert. More announcements about performers are coming soon.
The main headliner for Puistoblues has been secured: the long-awaited roots music superstar Seasick Steve, alongside the rising talent in the blues scene, British artist Joanne Shaw Taylor. In addition to them, on the main stage of Järvenpää's Puistoblues on July 6th, we'll also see Robert Jon & The Wreck, along with the immensely popular Finnish act, Drink Floyd.
Järvenpää's Puistoblues is Finland's largest festival organized entirely by volunteers, offering a hearty dose of authentic music in early July. Over the course of the five-day event, in addition to the main concert, there will be free concerts, evening clubs, children's events, and a record fair. Since 1978, Puistoblues' main stage has hosted countless top domestic and international artists, ranging from B.B. King to ZZ Top.
