Rajaton Jazz festival takes place in Vuotalo concert house for the eighth time on Valentine's Day, Feb 14. This year the festival features three additional club gigs at the Art Jazz Helsinki office in Paloheinä district on February 12, 13 and 15.
The first club concert on Wednesday the 12th features Olli Soikkeli Trio, who play gypsy jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt. Thursday's special guest, Electricity Killed The Cat ensemble comes all the way from St. Petersburg. Their music mixes jazz, funk soul and rock. The last club act on Saturday is The Classic Jazz Trio, which is one of the most popular jazz bands in Russia.
