The biggest festival organized entirely by volunteers is held 42th time this year. The festival is held in Järvenpää a week after midsummer celebrations, on June 26th to 30th. This year there are traditional blues festivities and some new changes.
To accommodate the feedback from audience, the general appearance and functions of the Blues street is more emphasized. The Blues street will be more practical and cozier than before. The program on the street will continue untill night time.
The free entry events on the Blues street features over twenty bands during the three days. There will be also circus and workshops for kids and performations of Red Carpet -film festival.
The main concert with a big picnic area in the Saturday evening includes Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana, Wentus Blues Band, and three energetic guests from abroad: Larkin Poe (USA), Joey Landreth (CAN) and Laurence Jones (GB).
