At the Flame Jazz Stream Magnetia Orkesteri, consisting of the tops of domestic jazz led by saxophonist Pauli Lyytinen, will take the stage. The concert will be streamed on Friday 19.2. live from Åbo Svenska Teater's Café Tiljan.
The repertoire of the strongly improvising and open-minded Pauli Lyytinen Magnetia Orkesteri mainly includes songs from the Hypnosis album released last spring. The strong moods and ethereal soundscapes of the compositions keep the listeners in their magnetic grip as the album explores the essences of the subconscious, time and space. The seminal wind instrumentalists Pauli Lyytinen and Verneri Pohjola form a strong pair, supported by a rolling rhythm section. At the Turku gig, double bassist Eero Tikka will be replaced by Ulf Krokfors and Mika Kallio will play the drums.
Due to the restriction of max. 10 people gatherings in Turku, no audience will not be admitted to the concert.
