Vibraphonist Panu Savolainen will play new music from his album Soiva at the Kangasala House in a concert on February 25, 2021. In his compositions, Savolainen relies on the beauty of simplicity while seeking all possible tonal colors from the trio formed by vibraphone, accordion and double bass.
Vibraphonist Panu Savolainen will release his new album Soiva on Friday, February 19, 2021. The album presents the ensemble Panu Savolaisen Soiva Trio, consisting of Savolainen, accordionist Harri Kuusijärvi and bassist Eero Seppä, with an acoustic fresh ensemble sound. The trio recorded the songs at the Villa Vikan artist villa in Raasepori in the middle of the corona spring 2020.
In connection with the Soiva album, the third season of the Panurama podcast hosted by Savolainen will also be released. The season will focus on the stages of making the album and making music in general.
