The autumn season of Oulu Music Festival's Jazz & Etno concert series starts on Saturday, August 27.
In the autumn season of Oulu Music Festival's year-round Jazz & Etno concert series, a diverse lineup of jazz and folk music stars from Finland and abroad will perform. The artistic director of the series is saxophonist Jukka Perko.
Haapoja & illmari urban folk music collective opens the autumn season
haapoja & illmari is a new wave folk rap collective from Helsinki, Finland. The collective combines sounds from traditional instruments, electronic music and urban soundscapes. The third haapoja & illmari collective album Huomeneen (Tomorrows) was released in January 2022!
