Odysseus Festival, produced by We Jazz, will take place for the first time on July 24 and 25 on the island of Lonna. In the two-day event will feature i.a. Timo Lassy, Y-OTIS, Lucia Cadotsch Speak Low and Eero Koivistoinen Quartet. The event's programme is complemented by the mystical band Oiro Pena. The Hailu Mergia tour, on the other hand, is postponed due to travel restrictions.
We Jazz will conquer the atmospheric island of Lonna on July 24-25, 2021 with the first Odysseus Festival. The two-day summer festival expands the previously popular We Jazz evenings in Lonna into a weekend-long, musically diverse event. The organizing team aims to explore the island of Lonna in the style of the December We Jazz Festival, presenting new, interesting performance spaces.
Odysseus Festival was originally scheduled for July 2020, but due to the prevailing corona pandemic, the event was postponed to summer 2021. Tickets already purchased for Odysseus 2020 will be valid to the 2021 event as they are. Ticket sales for the event have been brisk and it is expected that the entire ticket capacity of the festival will be sold out. Currently, all ticket types are still available from Tiketti.
