Together with his longtime trio with Zacharias Holmkvist on bass and Stefan Brokvist on drums, Sandberg embarked on a 50-date album release tour from Rovaniemi in North to Helsinki in south back in the spring. The band will now conclude the extensive tour with concerts in Southern and Eastern Finland:

The highly acclaimed guitarist and composer Mathias Sandberg has been called "one of Finland's best kept secrets", and is one of the hardest working jazz musicians in the country. He has studied at Manhattan School of Music in New York and Berklee College of Music in Boston and worked with artists such as Georg Riedel, Pierre Swärd, Peter Asplund, Nick Mancini, Jukka Eskola, Teppo Mäkynen and Manuel Dunkel. Sandberg plays a hundred or so concerts a year and has toured both Europe and the United States.
