The main concert event in the Kerava hall consists of three artistically distinctive bands.
The main concerts in Kerava Hall begin with the Puhti trio formed by world-class saxophonist-flutists Pepa Päivinen and Jorma Tapio together with cellist Juho Kanervo. The band's fine sound palette consists of special instrumentation combined with imaginative arrangements.
The festival receives a real "supergroup" as an international guest. American pianist Myra Melford and flutist Nicole Mitchell are be joined by French bassist Joëlle Lëandre. The music of their Tiger trio is created on stage by spontaneous composing.
The final performance for the main concert is by saxophonist–composer Avram Fefer, who arrives in Kerava with Eric Revis, Chad Taylor and Anders Nilsson joining him in a quartet concert.
The rest of the festival's performers consist of top domestic bands: Iiro Rantala and Varre Vartiainen’s Stadin Stuff, Quartet Ajaton, Nuijamiehet and trumpeter Mika Mylläri's MMQ quartet.
