Originating from Kruunupyy, bassist-composer Jonathan Bäckström’s quartet embarks on a joint production tour with the Finnish Jazz Federation, heading to Finland, as well as Sweden and Estonia.

The Finnish-Swedish Jonathan Bäckström Quartet’s expression ranges from minimalist soundscapes to explosive and multi-layered free improvisation. Each musician brings their unique voice to the mix, resulting in a powerful musical statement collectively.
