Jazz kiinnostaa, the popular radio programme on air every Sunday on Radio Helsinki, turns two years. To celebrate the occasion, hosts Matti Nives and Teppo Mäkynen invite friends of the show to enjoy a glass or two at the back yard of the Radio Helsinki studio in Teurastamo. After the anniversary radio show, the host duo will take their record bags from the studio outdoors and play their best selections at 2-6PM.
Jazz kiinnostaa runs on Radio Helsinki (98,5 MHz in the Helsinki metropolitan area) every Sunday from 12 to 2PM. International listeners can listen to the programme online on www.radiohelsinki.fi. Radio Helsinki reaches roughly 112 000 per week in the capital area. The radio station is currently running a share issue to ensure the continuation of its activity. By 8 July 809 persons have invested in the campaign, the total amount of invested funds topping 150 000 euros.
