The new gathering restrictions in Southwest Finland will cause changes to Jazz City Turku’s concert program. Jukka Perko's Early Birds sold out concert will now be played on the stage of Café Tiljan without an audience as an online broadcast on Facebook Live. Åbo Svenska Teater will contact all those who bought a ticket in advance.
On Tuesday, 1st December, the corona coordiation group of Southwest Finland has recommended that the capacity of all public events should be limited to 10 people between 3rd and 23rd December 2020. The recommendations mean that all Jazz City Turku's December concerts will only be streamed on Facebook Live. Purchased concert tickets are refunded to customers through Åbo Svenska Teater, Lippupiste or Tiketti, depending on the concert. You can check the correct channel on our program page for that concert.
The public can support Turku's jazz events by purchasing support tickets for streaming gigs from Tiketti. Jazz City Turku regrets the concert cancellations and wishes everyone good health and rewarding jazz experiences with streaming concerts. The concert program for the spring season will be announced during December.
