Jazzahead! Clubnight takes place in Bremen on 25th of April 2020.
Dear jazz artists from Finland,
on 25th of April 2020 the Jazzahead! Clubnight will take place in Bremen again. For the Finnish clubnight event I am now looking for Finnish jazz bands / solo artists.
The Clubnight is for a broader audience and is not part of the fair. Jazzahead! Clubnight takes place in numerous clubs around Bremen and the clubs themselves organize their programme while Jazzahead! has the role of a supervisor.
I am a member of the German-Finnish Friendship Club in Bremen (Saksalais-suomalainen seura Bremen ry) and it has been and will be my personal motivation to organize the Finnish jazz night event and to help Finnish artists display their art in Bremen. The old venue for the Finnish jazz event, Karton will not be in our use this year, and we are just negotiating of a new venue. The gig at Clubnight will be paid.
If you are interested of this possibility, please contact me at janika.achenbach@dfg-bremen.info by 30th November and include the following information: artist/band name, musicians and instruments, if you applied for a showcase ( the Clubnight clubs often ask this information) and optional: an audio/video sample (either a file or link), a short introduction and anything else you want me to know. If you´d have any questions concerning the performance, please don´t hesitate to ask. You can also write in Finnish if that is easier for you.
