Tampere-based jazz trio Hot Heros is releasing their awaited sophomore album “Folkjazz from Finland” on 21 September on Eclipse Music.
Folkjazz from Finland draws from the traditiond of free jazz and the music flows naturally through the stream of folk themes. The album reflects the nature of the compositions born in the middle of nature but also the collaborations between the band members and musicians such as Peter Brötzmannin, John Zornin, Juhani Aaltosen, Paal Nilssen-Loven, Barry Guyn, Iro Haarlan, Raoul Björkenheimin and other free expression musicians.
