HERD trio and Aili Ikonen celebrate their brand new Jazzbasilli album next week on tour. Live at We Jazz brings back the sunny autumn days with Jazzbasilli songs live at We Jazz & Unifilm office,
We Jazz and Unifilm produce a series which brings jazz bands to perform in an office environment once a month. In the tenth episode we get to see the "Jazzbasilli band", namely HERD & Aili Ikonen. The newly-released album portraits the Finnish jazz schlager era of the 1950s. The songs have gotten a new overdo, but the arrangements respect the characteristics of the hit songs like Laila Kinnunen's Pojat and Valoa ikkunassa. The Jazzbasilli album comes out on the Majava Music label on the 9th of October.
