The annual Alppipuisto Summer exudes lively urban culture.
Alppipuisto's Summer series focuses on two weekends this year. The first one launches on Friday 7 July with Elmun kansanjuhla, continuing on Saturday 8 July with Elephantasy – Funky Family Picnic and closing on Sunday 9 July with Afrojazz Club goes Alppipuisto. A total of six events will be organized in July. The second part of the series will take place on the last weekend of July, July 28-30, when the Baroque Picnic, Alppimuisto and Puistokarkelot will take over the park.
