The world-renowned vocal ensemble New York Voices, known for their unique interpretations and virtuoso singing, will perform in Helsinki in December. Their concert will take place at St. John's Church on Sunday, December 17th.
Grammy-winning New York Voices has been seen in Finland several times before, always to great acclaim. Now, the group brings their atmospheric Christmas program to Finland, interpreting it with jazz, R&B, and pop rhythms.
Formed in 1987, this vocal ensemble consists of tenor Darmon Meade and baritone Peter Eldridge, as well as sopranos Lauren Kinhan and Kim Nazarian. The group has released ten albums and has also appeared as guests in numerous artists' concerts and recordings.
New York Voices is also known for its extensive jazz vocal education activities, which its members traditionally conduct during their summer courses.
