Modern music club G Livelab Tampere presents wide and diverce setting of top artists from Finland and abroad. The first gig is held on 17th August. Tickets are now available in the G Livelab Tampere ticket shop and Tiketti.fi.
The club is located in the center of Tampere, in the historic Frenckell building. The new club is built in the terms of holistic musical experience to offer audience wide programme, top-class Genelec sound system and cozy atmosphere with modern design.
The autumn season of G Livelab Tampere offers versatile and quality setting of finnish rock, pop, rap, folk, chamber music, jazz and everything between. The highlights of the autumn are jazz pianist Jason Moran with his Bandwagon trio from USA, Brazilian Bianca Gismonti Trio, Mexican rhytmhs and Americana combining Orkesta Mendoza and Norvegian saxophonist Trygve Seim with his Helsinki Songs project.
The opening concert with Mopo and Herd is held on 22th October. During the autumn, jazz is also presented by UMO Helsinki, Jazzmuseo, Aili Ikonen & Jukka Perko Avara, Juhani Aaltonen & Arild Andersen and Iro Haarla Quartet to name a few. G Livelab also hosts gigs of Eclipse Jazz Club and We Jazz festival.
G Livelab Tampere is managed by Livelaboratorio Tampere Oy, which is owned by Muusikkojen liitto. G Livelab Tampere is second venue under the G Livelab brand – first one was G Livelab in Helsinki launced in 2016.
