Baltic Jazz 3–5 July 2026
The 38th edition of Baltic Jazz will open the summer season for the Archipelago Sea Jazz festivals during the first weekend of July 2026 in the charming historic ironworks setting of Dalsbruk. This year’s international guests include Swedish jazz star Gunhild Carling & The Carling Family, as well as Cynthia Sayer, known as a founding member of Woody Allen’s New Orleans Jazz Band, who will perform with her band Joyride. Finnish artists featured in the program include Seppo Hovi & Classic Jazz Society All Stars, Olli Soikkeli Quartet, Kirmo Lintinen Trio, and Antti Sarpila Swing Band.
Korpo Sea Jazz 23–25 July 2026
Korpo Sea Jazz will take place this year from 23 to 25 July in Korpo and the neighbouring
islands. This intimate archipelago festival invites visitors to leave the city far behind and
enjoy outstanding musical experiences surrounded by the beauty of the Archipelago Sea and the presence of nature. The Artistic Director of the 2026 festival programme is Eero Koivistoinen, who will bring his outstanding quartet to the main concert and has curated an exciting programme for the festival. Highlights include Verneri Pohjola & Tuomo Prättälä, Teemu Viinikainen performing both solo and with his trio, as well as Nordic collaboration when the Kristoffersson-Wretling Duo joins forces with Matias Långbacka.
Turku Sea Jazz 29 July–1 August 2026
Turku Sea Jazz expands to Ruissalo Boatyard at the turn of July and August! Set against an urban maritime backdrop, the festival welcomes international stars as legendary jazz pianist Joey Calderazzo performs with his outstanding trio on Friday 31 July, followed by the dynamic British-Nigerian saxophonist Camilla George on Saturday 1 August. Visitors can also take advantage of the Jazz Boat transfer from central Turku to Ruissalo and arrive by sea! Other memorable festival highlights include concerts aboard the museum ships and within the exhibition spaces of Forum Marinum. On Saturday, for example, audiences can enjoy an almost pirate-like atmosphere aboard the 19th-century merchant ship Sigyn with Héctor Lepe Quartet.
Åland Sea Jazz 20–23 August 2026
Åland Sea Jazz invites audiences to Mariehamn for a long weekend of jazz by the sea on 20–23 August. Set against the unique atmosphere of the Åland archipelago, the festival combines intimate concert experiences with leading Nordic jazz artists. This year’s programme features acclaimed pianist Vladimir “Vova” Shafranov, Swedish Grammy-winning vocalist Sara Aldén, guitarist Teemu Viinikainen, Simon Berggren Trio and the vibrant Finnish band PEELA. From atmospheric seaside concerts to late-night jam sessions, Åland Sea Jazz offers the perfect way to celebrate the final festival weekend of the summer.
