Tampere Hall's autums begins with traditional Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra concert at Sorsapuisto on August 10th. At the concert, lead by the Chief Conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali, the actors of TTT-Theatre perform interpretations of musical pieces such as West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein. This autumn we also hear four Finnish jazz legends, Paula Koivuniemi with roots arrangements and rock dad’s children interpretating their father’s hits.
This autumn Tampere Hall offers the best of Finnish jazz. Jazzin legendat “Legends of jazz” is a four-piece concert series, which brings on stage Aili Ikonen (20.9.), Pentti Lahti Quintet (18.10.), Heikki Sarmanto (15.11.) and Antti Sarpila Band (5.12.) Tickets to the series may be bought in bundles to all four concert. Friends of jazz must also be interested in the grand return of Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen sana, which takes the stage on 20th of October.
