Out of the over 60 applications, the Artistic Board of the Finnish Jazz Federation has selected four ensembles to tour the country in the fall season of 2017. That brings the total number of the federation's annual tour productions to nine.
For the fall tours in 2017, the Artistic Board selected Kalevi Louhivuori Quintet and Raoul Björkenheim Triad to perform on the federation's own tours. The association also supports two tours produced by independent agencies: Flame Jazz Messengers by Flame Jazz, and Timo Lassy Band's tour by Diamond T Ltd.
