Erin and UMO make a collaborative Christmas concert series "Towards Christmas".
Finnish pop star Erin will switch popular music arenas to an atmospheric church milieu this December when she features as a soloist for UMO Jazz Orchestra. The collaborative tour consists of five concerts in five different cities; Hämeenlinna, Kotka, Porvoo, Espoo and Helsinki.
"It's a joy to have a chance to perform with a big orchestra and to have a programme that has been tailored especially for me. I'm conviced that it will be an unforgettable experience. We are eager to give the audience a chance to tune into a Christmas mood and a memorable way to end the year 2014," Erin says.
The beautiful new arrangements give the traditional Christmas carols a candle-like sonic glow. Some of Erin's own Christmas favourites are also included.
