Umo and vocalist Emma Salokoski are heading for a Christmas tour in December. The tour features six concerts in five cities: Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Porvoo and Tampere, from where the tour starts on 7 December.
The repertoire for the Christmas tour has been chosen by Emma Salokoski and it includes Christmas classics but also vocalist’s own, more unusual favourites. Brand new Christmas songs are also heard at the concerts, such as “Jouluaamu”, which is composed by Olavi Louhivuori and the lyrics are written by Salokoski and new Christmas music from Seppo Kantonen. Many of the pieces have got new arrangements by conductor Mikko Hassinen.
