Case Kämäräinen releases their debut album on 9 November on Eclipse Music. The digital single “Waiting” was released on 19 October.

Tomi Kämäräinen, born in Eastern-Finland, worked ten years teaching music in the area until last year he decided to change the course of his life and applied to study master’s degree in music in Copenhagen.  There he found the perfect ensemble to perform his music: saxophonist Marek Konarski, pianist Grzegorz Tarwid piano and  bassist Petter Asbjørnsen.

Case Kämäräinen’s music draws from the Polish mysticism, the echoes of Norwegian fiords and Finnish Romanticism. It combines elements from rich cultural life of Copenhagen, 90’s jazz and free improvisation. After the release, the ensemble heads to a tour covering seven Finnish cities, starting from The Doo-Bop Club in Vaasa.

The album release concert is held at the Galathea Kroen in Copenhagen on 15 November. After the concert, they head to Finland to start their seven-concert tour from The Doo-Bop Club in Vaasa.
