Dalindéo has won an Emma Award for best jazz album ”Kallio”.

An ode to the Helsinki suburb of Kallio, the album has been a favourite of the critics as well as the public, since coming out in 2013, published by KHY Suomen Musiikki. It went up to number 13 on the Finnish album chart.

After having worked together for 10 years and releasing three albums, Dalindéo and the bandleader, composer, guitarist Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen have reached a certain national and international breakthrough.

”Kallio” is also nominated for the Teosto award in April.

Dalindéo's previous albums ”Open Scenes”, and ”Soundtrack for the Sound Eye” (2007 & 2010, both on Ricky-Tick Records) are set to be re-issued soon by KHY Suomen Musiikki.
