The new album, Persistence, will be available on vinyl, CD and digital, and it consists of nine fresh original compositions. The ensemble performs at Tavastia on 23 October as an opening act for legendary Roy Ayers.
We Jazz Records releases the awaited sophomore album of internationally acclaimed Bowman Trio on 1 November. The ensemble formed by drummer-composer Sami Nummela, bassist Joonas Tuuri and trumpeter Tomi Nikku is a tight band unit, whose minimalistic and intensive music comes close to the listener. Bowman Trio’s sound has been described with an apt term “loft jazz”. The first single from the album, “Mac Elliot” is available on streaming services.
