Berlin jazz ensemble Philipp Gropper’s Philm tours in Finland

Saxophonist Philipp Gropper’s Philm quartet performs five concerts in Finland on 28 November to 2 December.  In addition to Gropper, the top-notch ensemble consists of pianist Elias Stemeseder, bassist Robert Landfermann and Oliver Steidle.

In Novemeber, one of the German front row jazz ensembles, Philipp Gropper’s Philm, arrives in Finland for the first time. The quartet is seen on five-concert tour in Hämeenlinna, Turku, Tampere, Pori and Helsinki, produced by Charles Gil’s Vapaat äänet agency.  Verneri Pohjola & Mika Kallio are seen on stage with their Animal Image repertoire  on their Tampere concert and at the We Jazz festival the quartet is heard together with the British Phronesis.
