Ami Vuorinen is to become the director for the Finnish Jazz Federation. He will start in his new position in September.
The Finnish Jazz Federation appoints Ami Vuorinen as their new Executive Director. Vuorinen will start in the position on September 1st.
Vuorinen holds a M.A., and in the past five years he has worked as a producer-publicist for the UMO Jazz Orchestra.
Vuorinen will succeed Maati Rehor, who was appointed as the Executive Director for the chamber orchestra Avanti! in early August. Rehor worked for the Jazz Federation since 2008.
