Biography

Sid Hille's ONE – soundscapes by Sid Hille was only released in LP format. The record release concert was held at Pitskun kulttuurikirkko in Pitäjänmäki on 13th April 2011.

On this multi-instrumental LP, Sid Hille plays all the instruments himself; piano, Fender Rhodes piano, melodica, kantele, percussion and different electronic widgets, to name a few.

The idea of making LP only record was born when Hille visited his brother in Australia. They spent three days talking and listening vinyls. The album consists of two 18-minute long, improvised, very intimate and personal soundscapes of Hille.
