Biography

Tuukka Dunkel’s band plays modern jazz with influences from gospel and pop.

The other members of drummer Tuukka Dunkel’s international line-up are either students or graduates from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and they have established themselves remarkably on the Amsterdam and Central Europe jazz scene.

The first album of the band, Lightness, consists of Dunkel’s compositions. The songs are described by melodic lines and harmonic movements. The interplay of the band is energetic and highly communicative.
