Ministry of Education and Culture supports the internationalization of the Finnish jazz industry

Finnish jazz industry have been granted two culture export benefits by Ministry of Education and Culture.

Jazz Finland International project will continue for the third edition, since the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture have decided to support the project with 130 000 euros for the 2019-2020 period. The Jazz Finland Internatonal project launched in 2016 to promote the internationalization of Finnish jazz industry. It aims to add visibility, networks and valuation of the Finnish jazz music abroad, and develop the exporting skills among the jazz business and organizations.

Along with Jazz Finland, also the Helsinki-based We Jazz is granted a culture export benefit to increase We Jazz brand and market share in the USA and Great Britain in 2019-2020.
