William Suvanne's new album 'The Tenor' is released on January 24th. The album is an adventure in Las Vegas.

One of Finland's front row saxophonists, William Suvanne, releases his third solo record. The Tenor tells us a tale about a night at the casinos on Las Vegas Strip. The music is inspired by New Orleans jazz and Michael Brecker's albums 'Tales From the Hudson' ja 'Two Blocks From The Edge'.

The Tenor is the first of a three-piece series. The next "episodes" follow in 2015 and 2016.

"Our music is about the groove. I want to strip all the seriousness from jazz", says Suvanne. "Music is at its best when it can be played with a smile."

Suvanne's band on the album is Mikael Jakobsson (piano), Tuure Koski (double bass) and Mikko Arlin (drums).
