Kalkkiranta Jazz festival has appointed vibraphonist Panu Savolainen as their new artistic director. Former Art Director, pianist Iiro Rantala chose Savolainen as his successor. The festival takes place in Sipoo on the 16th of August.
The 21st Kalkkiranta Jazz festival takes place by the sea in Sipoo's Kalkkiranta beach. The event is produced by Musiikkia Sipoossa (Music In Sipoo) organization. The festival publishes their program in spring.
